CDS 2023 Notification

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam for recruitment purposes. The department will announce around 341 vacancies, as expected. And the exam will be conducted in more than 70 cities. The mode of the exam is offline. The official notification of the exam is expected to be released on 21 December 2022. The CDS Notification includes all the important information required for the candidates.

The syllabus for the exam includes elementary maths, General English, and general knowledge. Candidates can find the official notification o the official website of UPSE. The notification is available for male and female candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Air Force, and Officers’ Training Academy.

CDS Application Form 2023

As we are expecting the Combined Defence Services (CDS) notification on 21 December 2022, or if there are any changes in the date, you will be notified. When the notification is released for the exam from that day, the application form window will be activated for the candidates who are waiting for the exam.

And application forms are expected to be available for the candidates from 21 December 2022 to 10 January 2022. How to Fill CDS Application Form

  • First of all, visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to fill out the application form.
  • Now on the home page of the website, click on part 1 registration to open the registration form.
  • The next step is now you have to fill in all the required details which are asking. After filling out all the details, you will get a registration number on the registered mobile number through SMS.
  • All the candidates filling out their applications form must fill in the education qualification and select the location for the examination center.
  • After completing the process, you need to pay the application fee, which is INR 200, and all the candidates must submit the fees.
  • Now the application form process is completed.

CDS Exam Date 2023

The combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year for the recruitment purpose for the post Commissioned Officers in the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy. A written exam will follow the selection process of the candidates for the SSB interview.

The department has not finalized the exam date; we can expect the exam dates in April 2023, which will be on 16 April 2023. Whenever the exam date is finalized, the department will release a notification. The combined Defence Services (CDS) exam will be conducted twice a year.

CDS Eligibility 2023

Before filling out any application form, all the candidates must check the eligibility criteria at least once. So then, you may know whether you are eligible for this post or not. We will tell you the eligibility criteria according to age, education, and nationality. So let’s come to the point. If you want to apply for the CDS, the candidate must be a citizen of India. According to the age limit, the candidate must be an unmarried male candidate born not earlier than January 2, 1999, and not later than January 1, 2004, for the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Indian Naval Academy (IMA).

And the candidate applying for the Air Force Academy is 20 to 24 years as of January 1, 2023. Candidates applying for the Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men and women) must be unmarried, not born earlier than January 2, 1998, and not later than January 1, 2004.
